CHARACTER BREAKDOWN: Two females and one male
KENDRA: mid 20s, black female, Columbia med student, just lost her the love of her life, trying to survive - very matter of fact - not angry, just not surprised at what the world dishes out
NATALIE late 20s, white female, private banker from Georgia, put together but covering up a messy life, leads with a ‘sweet as pie’ demeanor (nothing sounds nasty even if it is)
JOE: late 20s, White male, Natalie’s abusive ex-fiancé, lawyer from Georgia
Jasmine, Natalie’s sister has recently died from cancer. Kendra and Jasmine had been longtime partners and recently married.
Kendra and Natalie seem to have nothing in common except they both loved Jasmine. Joe, Natalie’s estranged husband in spite of being issued a restraining order by Natalie has been stalking her. Panic attacks, pot brownies and pocket aces help them deal with buried secrets, bottled anger and bluffed intentions.
